I am a CPA licensed in Virginia, serving individuals, and small businesses and nonprofit organizations, both onsite and remotely. From business entity setup, to routine monthly maintenance and accounting system conversions for growing companies, I help my clients overcome their business challenges. As a sole proprietor, very much in tune with the entrepreneurial spirit, I pride myself in giving personal, friendly service to each and every client. It's important for me to get to know my clients well, enabling me to address needs they might not know exist. I strive to help them grow, while keeping them safe from the pitfalls of compliance mistakes. As many of my entrepreneurs squeeze in evening and weekend time for administrative work, I am available when they are. I will respond to you quickly; your concerns matter.
Four years ago an online retail start-up contacted me because their tax preparer was unable to complete their partnership return - their books were a mess!! (I've often been told by new clients that the best way forward is to scrap the current set of books and start over. To date, I've never come across a set of books too bad to salvage - I will get you caught up and cleaned up!) That company now has two brick stores in addition to it's successful online business and boasts revenue of $30M a year. They are a remote client I have never met in person, but powerful, affordable accounting software made it possible to work remotely, keep them organized, and make it happen.
